my uncle had a Ford dealership for over 40 years back home and my Dad worked for him for quite a few of those. Neither of them would EVER recommend an "after-market" or "non-FORD" warranty.
At least with a Ford factory warranty, the vehicle can be serviced at any Ford dealer, which are very plentiful compared to the coverage you get with aftermarket warranties. Hope this helps...
If it's not the factory's extended warranty, Ford/Chevy/Dodge/ whatever, then save your money. These "after-market" warranty companies come and go, and you're usually left with a worthless piece of paper.
