Tail gate question ???

I need to replace the handle and inner parts of my tail gate.
What truck years can I get the parts from to fit my 72 F100 8 ft. bed.

I believe that 67 to 72 f100 to 250 use the same tailgate mounting plate, release handle and latches. Check the wrecking yards first unless you want to purchase new thru a catalog.

I think you can use all the way back to 64 tailgate parts.
