Headers are always worth it IMO. I have no personal experience with Gibson headers, but the guys who I have talked to seem to like them. One thing to look at when choosing headers is to see if they are also 'equal length'. I dont think the Gibsons are. I believe only Bassani and JBA currently make equal length shorties (but I could be wrong). I think the Gibsons look much like the stock manifolds (where each primary tube is a different length). The Bassani and JBA's primary tubes are equal length. This promotes more flow, as well as much less exhaust crowding than other designs. I have Gibson shorty headers and catback on my 94 Bronco. I had my mechanic install the headers and I installed the catback. My mechanic stated that the headers weren't that easy to install. Catback was fairly easy to install. Headers got very close to the plugs wires and caused them to heat up and smell. Had to install those fiberglass bootys on the plug end of the wires to shield them from the heat. I bought both from Truck Performance on the web.
