is there a fuse or something for the horn?
I was removing the trailer light wiring last weekend and removed about 40 feet of extra wiring that did not go anywhere.
My horn doesn't work though--i was also wondering how to remove the horn mechanism from the steering wheel...it seems like it might not be possible?
Follow the horn wirng back from the horn, and it should lead to a little metal box. This is the horn relay. If you hear this box click everytime you push on the steering wheel button, then the steering wheel switch and it's wiring are ok. If you do not here the click, then check for power at the relay. If you have power, then you must have something wrong in the steering wheel. Look behind the steering wheel for some hidden screws.
