1979 302 heads

What heads (which casting ie E7, etc) are on a 1979 302 in a '79 F-150 w/ a 2bbl?
I posted here because it's a '79 questions and the engine people say it could be any of 3. Any one have an idea which one?

D9TE

E7 heads are the ones that came on 1987 5.0s.

A possible casting is :

D3 or D4 or D5 or D6 or D7 or D8 or D9

The 3rd digit unless they had started designing 302's for trucks would be
A or O
ie: D5AE or D5OE

Aren't trucks T on that casting?

I've only seen D8TE heads...and they came on a car and a truck...

The 3rd digit is called the car-line.
See my explanation
The 3rd digit unless they had started designing 302's for trucks would be

A - being Mid-size car (Fairlane/Mustang/Cougar & if something else was designed for the stang it got a *Z* for the 3rd digit
O - being Large ford car
T - being Truck.
V being Lincoln

I don't remember a special 302 designed for a truck.
