Expy Mirror Solution
I have recently had to deal with the mirror issue on my expy also the coating
on the backside of the mirror was getting so bad that it was hard to see out
of them. And as I was at work one day I looked at the replacement glass
that is offered by motormite & I went up to a dislay that was flashing & it projected thur the glass, so i bought the drivers side & replaced it it made a world of differance so then I ordered the convex for the passangers side &
they still project the turn signal thru the glass not as bright just slightly less, the only other mod to the glass I made was to tint the back side with some limo tint & made a cut out for the arrow for the turnsignal, they just dont say signal. The part numbers are drivers side 51474 @ 11.99$ & the passangers
side is 51593 @ 31.99$ & is a special order item in most autozone stores.
A buddy said that on his he just used that reflective tint on his factory mirrors after he removed the factory black coating & sealed the edges of the tint with a coat of clear finger nail polish, now one unfair advantage is that he owns his own tint shop. TURBO TED
