dead spark plug
Hey there everyone I keep having a spark plug die on me in the same cylinder. My motor is a 390 4v, w/ headers no exhaust leaks plugs are autolite 45's as book suggested. Just curious as to what might cause this to happen and is there a better heat range plug to run. I curently still have points setup soon to be upgraded to.

What does the plug look like when you take it out?? Sooty, wet, like new??
I take it the motor starts missing?? Does it use any oil?? Antifreeze loss??
Need to track down the symptoms to help with a diagnosis.
