302 piston swap
A valve spring broke on my 94 302 and the valve floated down and gouged up the piston. I have a set of 302 pistons out of an older (guessing 70's) 302. These are the same diameter but the piston/rod combo is a bit heavier. Would I be in trouble if I used one of these older pistons along side the 94's. What about using all of the pistons from the older engine? The tops look identical. I think the extra mass is around the piston pin.
