I have a GEN 1 L with a Ford Racing Mass Air conversion. I've been told that the processor it uses comes from the 90's Mass Air Broncos (AKC0)...is this true? If so, do any of you have a pinout chart for this processor???
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
WOW...thanks for the list!
There's actually a handful of GEN 1 L's that came with mass air from the factory (in CA only), I didn't know that they used PCM's that were specific to their vehicles. Now I just need a pinouot chart for it to see if it will output DCL to monitor MAF voltage.
What's DCL? Data Logging? I think it will from the J3 service port on the back. I didn't know any Gen1 Lightnings came with mass air until I saw that catch code this morning. Very interesting, and a good computer for a mass air swap with the E4OD.
Yes, for data logging. This data can be used to monitor stuff like MAF voltage, timing and a few other things.
Some EEC IV computers wont "datalog", so I want to make sure that this one can before I go and buy a scan tool.
I would have to agree on using this computer for a MAF swap. I've been told that the other standard truck/Bronco PCM's have a pretty heavy tip-in-retard...big hp killer.
