Flowmaster

I have a 40 series flowmaster and am considering putting it on my truck. Is it going to give me that " baaaaa-baa-ba-baaaa-baaa" kinda backfire noise when I let off the gas? thanks alot.

No backfire noises, but you will hear a pretty good rumble when you let off the gas with 40’s.

Yup, rumble sound, I have the 40 series on my truck...rumble.

Trust me, it won't sound like a lamb or a billy goat.

I had a 40 series Flowmaster once and I put it ON my truck. I don't think it did anything because I couldn't keep it from sliding off the hood when I went around corners. Finally, I duck taped it to the roof and it stayed pretty good, but I didn't notice any sound or power differences so I just sold it. Hmf, perhaps if i would of bungie tied it down in the bed it would of worked better. Oh well, I think I'm going to try a Gibson next.

That was your problem, you had it on the hood. Should've put it on the roof of the cab with the bungie cables. Problem solved.

As for the sound, put some water in your mouth, tilt your head back and gargle. It gives you that deep monotone sound.

Well see I nailed mine on with a nail gun. Then, I put 32 rats inside the muffler that are really ill-tempered. Lots of growl.

If they were ill-tempered then you payed some big bucks. More than likely those were experimental rats. Especially the ones that were used with the hair spray experiments. Very ill-tempered.

The ill-tempered sea bass turned out to be that sensational singing bass. You'll be eating a bass while at the same time it will be singing "One for my baby and one for the Road".

Hey, I have one of those on my wall. It's funny when he sings "hubba hubba hubba hubba"
