Found three uni's for sale and one of them is a 3/4 ton. I don't think I have ever seen a 3/4 ton unibody. One is also a long wheelbase. None are wraparound window. I haven't looked them over closely, only talked to the owner on the phone. Wants $700 for all. They are basically just the body shells, but have fenders, hoods, and doors in the beds. From what I saw, they looked to be rust free quarters and beds. Couldn't see the bed floors.
Yep they made em. All the 3/4 ton uni's I've seen were long bed small back window. There's a guy that has one here and uses it for dump runs and such. He let me look it over pretty close. It looks pretty much the same as a 1/2t but with bigger springs and 8 lug wheels.
Definitely made 'em. My wife bought me one last fall... tailgate and all, in excellent condition, but never restored. Am in the middle of it now. Just had the 292 Y-block rebuilt, and am putting it all back together now. Body and upholstery next. Only had 96,000 miles on the original engine, but did a lot of sitting and wasn't getting oil throughout the motor anymore.
From the research I've done, it is a very rare species, but not as popular (valuable) as the short beds. Personally, I'm building it for myself. So, I'm not worried about selling it.
