Ford 3 Speed Trans

I am looking for a Ford 3 speed trans to fit a 1966 352 and got offers for Mustang 3 speeds. Are they the same as the truck trans?

I have a 1966 f-100 3 speed that fit the 352 and it has a short tailshaft not like the mustang trannys that I've seen. If your interested e-mail me

More importantly, the small block trannys have a slightly longer input shaft; so.......unless the tranny is out of a 390 or 428 Mustang, you'll have that to deal with.

What your looking for is a heavy duty 3 speed top loader. Its built like the 4spd for big block FE motors. They where so strong that GM used them in the early to mid 60s for the 3 speed equiped buicks and olds. I got one from the Pomona swap meet about 6 years ago to use in a project. If you need id numbers or dimentions and think I could dig out. Sorry its not for sale
