jdfl44, the dealership put the vent visors on when I purchased the truck, so I guess it's stock ford part. Thank you for the compliment

I love the platinum edition there is a dealer that advertises in our auto and rv free book that has 3 listed they are all 01 models and all are 4 door shortbeds is this the only way to get one I would like to see this in a dually format love the truck though!

I just purchased a Platinum a few weeks ago with 50K miles. Any known issues on them that I should address?

I traded in a 1994 F-150 with a 5.0 and it is primarily a tow vehicle. Quite a upgrade. Looking forward to towing with the AC on this summer. I am in Tulsa, OK. and have seen a few around town.

the only issue I could tell you about is get ready for people to look at it there is one that sets in a parking lot close to my work and people are all over it all the time. keep it clean a truck like that deserves it. I might take platinum ladie's advice and paint my dually like that. to bad Ford never built one congradulation's your purchase.

Congratulations Mark, I have 58,000 miles on mine and haven't had any problems, like I said before I bought mine new and love the truck.

If I could have gotten a platinum edition Ex......

I would have JUMPED on it - "G-E-orgeous" trucks...
see them running around the southern sector of DFW regularly !
