Horsepower and Torque

What kind of horsepower and torque did a stock 351m/400 engine put out in 1979. I have not been able to find out.

The answer to the Q is:

351M- 140Hp
400 - 156 Hp

Thanks, that helps me too. I have a '78 with a 351m. I have always wondered about the HP. I want to do some mods to it (mostly to the top end) to bring up the HP. I have a Holley 600 carb that I want to install, and I want to get an intake, cam and heads for it, but I am having trouble deciding what I should get. Any suggestions?
