Well, I'm bored, so I've started workin on the 52 Chevy that's in my garage. I'll get some pictures up, and hopefully I can get it running before Spring Break is over.
yeah, I am....I've been working on that, and a 93 Probe all week, and I'm supposed to start workin on an 00 Grand Prix today.... and then MAYBE I'll get to the Explorer.
Actually its my dad's that he bought in like 63 or something like that, and its been sitting for the last like 4 years... only has 45K miles on it, and a pretty rare inline 6. I wanted to get it running, then eventually turn it into a show car or something.... maybe.... I'm just adding this onto my now 3 page list of projects.
Just an update.... I'm stuck for now, b/c I gotta go back to school today.... but I've made SOME progress....
I got the radiator drained and removed from the compartment, then came the snag... I put a 24" pipe wrench and a 24" Cheater bar on the pipe wrench to try and turn the crank over.... SNAP!! the "Thingy" (that's the technical name for it) broke, so I can't turn the crank that way now, so next time I'm home, I'm gonna take the top end off of it and do the 2x4 trick to see if I can knock the rings off their rusted spots, and then HOPEFULLY, if that works, I will be able to change the spark pugs, wires, distributor cap, battery, drop and drain the gas tank, and replace an fuel, coolant lines and hoses, change the oil, and MAYBe get to get her cranked and running!!! Then, I'll have to buy new tires for it (still has the originals on it).
