today i had my brother take my truck to get inspected since i dont get my lisence till next week. and on the sheet of problems he brought home it said that under hard brakeing the truck pulls to the left. i went and checked this and sure enough it did pull. What could be the problem, maybe bad pads up front and out back. some advice would be excellent.
My F-150 does this. My advice: Don't brake hard unless absolutely necessary. And in the event it is necessary to brake hard, you'll already be alerted and gripping the wheel hard enough that it's not worth worrying about.
It could simply be a small problem of more fluid being sent through the front-left brake line or something to that effect. But as I said, it's nothing to worry about unless you feel it's a serious problem.
how old are your calipers? the piston on the right one might be seized up or not expanding enough. Check and see if your pad wear is minimal on the right. Inspect rotor to see if you are getting pad contact on both sides of the right rotor. If your left rotor is badly warped it can cause it to pull some. Good Luck
I think more likely the left drum is mis-adjusted or there is a problem with your right drums auto-adjuster, I certainly doesn't hurt to check them all out though.

Never, never drive a vehicle with questionable brakes. It's one thing to endanger your own life - but bad brakes are dangerous for everyone else on the road with you.
There is something wrong that needs repaired - that's exactly why there is a safety inspection. Get it fixed properly.
