Midship Tank

Can anyone tell me if there was ever a plastic midship tank on this generation of F-series trucks? I have one that had a fuel sender / pickup only (no in-tank pump) and am trying to figure out what it came out of. Thanks!

I don't know of Ford using any plastic tanks in production vehicles. They did try a few in some vehicles (cars mostly) and it is most likely aftermarket!

I don't know if they were original or not, but national parts depot does carry these tanks. Might could match it up by measurements in their catalouge?

actually they did. I was at the junkyard tuesday, and there was 3 '92+ truck with plastic front & rear tanks. definetley looked OEM. 2 of them were 7.2? diesels, the 3rd I dont know since the cab and engine were gone (looked like a '92+ chassis because of the crumple zone on the front frame)
