Within the next few months, I'll be in the market for a Diablo Predator as well as the other recommended mods . But there are a few things I'm curious about.
1. Would it be safe to always run the 100Hp/200lbs.ft. file?
2. What kind of fuel mileage city/hwy should I expect if I run that file?
3. What about the 85Hp setting?
Bear in mind that this is all with a 4' or 3.5' downpipe, a 4' pipe, an AFe intake, as well as some gauges.
i have the 4"turbo back system and my truck handles the 100 hp setting fine. EGTS have only gotten to 1200 once at WOT. I personallly prefer the 60 hp setting, plenty of power and the truck still shifts somewhat stock whereas the upper settings have really firm or hard shifts even at light throttle...
I love the 100hp seting for my 03 CC. But it is just for haveing fun. It seems a little finiky with that much fuel in it. The timeing is agressive too. I personally run the 85hp all the time. When I think I will want to prove a point I will make sure I have the 100hp on board with me when I leave the house. I LOVE to DRAG RACE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I generally get about 15 with a mix of city/highway driving, I can't really narrow it down to one or the other cause i don't drive one way or the other enough to figure it. I do know that I will only get around 12 if I choose to have a good time between fillups
i run the older Diablo tuner and use the 60 HP all the time (85 doesnt seem much better and i also tow various trailers all the time). When i need to, (much like tonight) i install the "Tow tune" and it pulls very well, NO SMOKE
I wish i have a flip chip though...
Oh, i get about 13.5-13.7 city/hwy/trailering
and about 15 just crusin on down the Highway with the 60 hp tune.
