gauges for 2000 X
I'm looking for gauges for my 2000 X 7.3l. Is the gauge pod for the SD F250 the same fit? Is the tranny temp gauge hard to install? What about the EGT? And what is a boost/vac gauge used for and is it worth putting on? Basically, I pull a 7500# travel trailer about 5 times a year and have recently been using the SuperChip. What a difference this chip makes on the diesel engine. But I want to be sure that I'm not hurting anything especially when I'm pulling my trailer. Thanks in advance for the input.

I personally did the isspro enhanced visibility transmission temperature guage. Installation using the instructions on that website was not bad at all. I think the guage works... The tranny has to get to at least 140 for it to start registering and I havent driven or towed far enough to heat it up. I read that the trans temp is 40-100 degrees above outside temps. Good luck.
