converting an efi to carb.

would it be hard work to change my 95' to carburation? I know i would need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, get rid of the return line to the tank, but what about all of the electronics that are pre existing? also, for those who have put on an offy, and a 390 holley, how did the power gains feel and was it worth it to you? I also am going to be installing a header. thanks for any help

While the 4bbl is a nifty upgrade for the old 1 bbls, I'm not sure you'ld see the kind of gains you could get by tweaking your EFI. I think it might involve a substantial amount of "re-engineering". The 4bbl/Clifford/EFI (exhaust) conversion easily boosted my HP by 50% - but I started at 120...

I don't have any experience with EFI heads, but from what I've read, I think so...

..does your truck have the e4od? That could be an issue. I'd like to replace mt '92 302 w/300-6 and go to a carb, but that e40d has me quivering cause of the computer needed to run it.

You will need to replace the fuel pump and I don't know about the head I think there is a difference.
