I have a 1959 Ford F600 truck that i am needing a seat for. Can someone tell me what seats are a direct replacement? Will some from the other F series trucks fit? For Example from a F250?
Hi Lynn. Welcome to FTE.I have the same problem you do,trying to fine a replacement that is.The problem I'm having is locating one then finding a good one,not all ripped up.lol.I'm ordering a kit to replace the seat covering. It's a little over $100.If you can't find one, this may be an option .Good luck with your seat problem.
any stock seat from a 57-60 f-100 -f600 should bolt right in. If your looking for a later model seat, I can't help you there. -4speed
Thanks, I was hoping the way that was. Now i will scour the country for one that is sitting under a hedge somewhere. Some one put in a seat from some other truck (I think it was from an IHC) and my head always hits the ceiling. Thanks again for the info..
Lynn
Someone put a different seat in my truck, and i think it is from a 79 F250. I say that because i found a build sheet under the seat springs and somewhere i determined it to be a F250. It's a bench with a split back rest and it fits but with only an inch on either side of the top seat back in rearward position.
