V10 vs 460

I bought my f350 4x4 crewcab back in July 1998 It had a rattling noise from day 1 when I start it in the morning. It also suffers from sqeaky front springs and clanking hubs.My 1986 f250 supercab had 236,000 miles on it when traded in.I'll be damn lucky to see 100,000 with this truck.now have 53,000. I cant wait until Chevy comes out with there new crewcab. You guys can have your supercrappie superduties.

Have fun with your Chevy....don't get the new 6.6L diesel. I was talking to an Engineer for Chevy while I was camping, and first I must state that he was driving a '99 F-450, and secondly he said there is quite a bit of controversy over the new engine because it is the first diesel to be built with aluminum heads. As everyone knows, aluminum expands faster then the cast-iron block, which may cause the cyliners to crack. Yes I know gassers are made with aluminum heads, but diesels run hotter then gassers do. He said that he would not consider buying one for at least 2 years after they have been put on the market. He guarentees recalls on the new chevy trucks.
Good luck with your Chevy...you'll need it.
