Shorter starter for headers

My starter went just the other day. Low and behold, its time to put in a shorter starter so i can run a header. For all you folks that have done this application before, what is the part number for the shorter starter.

Im running an 88 efi 300ci.

I don't recall the part number, but the starter for a '91 and later are the shorter ones.

You might be able to use a aftermarket starter check with JEGS or Summit tech suport its a free call.

I can't remember if it's F150's or not, but I believe I've used a starter for a 4X4 that was short enough to use with headers. I may be thinking of my in-laws' Chevy's.
