OK ....i think I have finally got it and may order it this week...but making sure...ok i think i am going to go with an adapter to fit 2 1/2in stock pipe then to the dynomax race bullet...after the bullet i will have another adapter that will go back down to 2 1/2in pipe...at this point i would have a 'Y' pipe... to my duals.....
Will this work? and will it sound good ....I have a 99' F-150 5.4L
Thanks....
Ok...what size of dynomax do u have..and what size pipes?...is it just a single pipe out the back...or into duals...or true duals...should mine should like the one you sent me (351DynomaxRaceBullet)....
Thanks jordan
I have a 3" inlet/outlet w/18" case and 23" overall. Single exhaust with 3" piping ran out in front of my rear pass. tire with a 3.5" x 18" rolled tip.
Yours will sound different from mine since they are two different motors and I'm only running one cat. I think it'll still sound good though.
OK...i talked to a guy today that told me that by putting a dynomax on there that it wouldnt be too much louder...he told me that i shuold just put straight pipes on it...what u think????
It will definitely be louder than the Gibson!
Straight pipes on the modular engines (4.6/5.4) sound nice and all, but they tend to have a lot interior resonance. The bullet will reduce some of that and deepen the tone.
Hey got a DynoMax 3"inlet/outlet on her yesterday....and WOW she sounds great...I am very pleased with the sound....when you start her you she will turn some heads definetly....and at idle she is rumbly like i wanted...and when u take off she just sounds powerful...good tough tone...
I would like to thank you for all your help and info on what i should do...
You were a great help in my decision....
I love the sound of my truck...
I am hoping to post my sound somewhere, if i do ill let you know or ill send it to u....

well ill try and get a sound clip for ya
later
You would obviously need some sort of microphone. As for sound software, you should have a basic sound recorder program on youre computer
"Start, All Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Sound Recorder" on my computer.
