cam issues

Hey all here is a question my brother asked me. Can you use a cam using a 351 firing order in a 302. He says he can I said he should hold off until I asked you guys any help would be great. Oh if it matters his engine is a 5.0 E.F.I. and the cam he wants to use is a wolverine. I am not sure of the number.

The 5.0 HO engine uses a firing order like the 351W.

The 351's all use the same firing order i thought. One of the books i have says they do also.

not is a stock 302. Only the 302 H.O. version had the 351 firing order. (and a factory edition H.O. , not a home made one with H.O. heads or intake)
