expedition overdrive light
Have a 2002 Expedition with 45,000 miles -- overdrive light started blinking couple of days ago and service engine soon light came on -- runs fine and shifts fine into all gears -- overdrive button works even though it blinks -- stopped at transmission shop today and they ran the codes -- said it looked like torque converter -- going to take it back tomorrow -- anyone out there have any insights on this one before I spend $300?

Torque converter clutch slippage is a very common proplem with Ford truck automatics. 45,000 miles! "Quality is job one."$300 is a very good price for replacement if that includes all labor.
