I'm rebuilding a 68 Ford P400 (no I don't know why ). I have a stock light switch and can probably figure out which prong does what but thot maybe someone here could give me the definitive answer. The prongs are labled: A, B, P, D1, D2, H, I, and R.
On a side note, I noticed lots of discussion on the need for a wiring schematic but no mention of where one can find one. Are they around?? My 55 Ford diagram is probable close but the 68 diagram would be better.
I didn't get my diagram for my 68 at Motorhaven. Why? They don't list one. If there is one, it's not on the site. I would have gladly supported the site if there was one to get. So, I got mine from blueovaltruckparts.com. It was about $8 + sh. It has all of the headlight identification and everything else. If you only need the book for a one time deal, let me know. I will not be sending the diagram out for all to see anymore. Read below......
When I got the book, I was glad to share. I figured what goes around, comes around. Well, I have been asking for the ignition switch diagram details for weeks now for a 71 or 72. Apparently, the generousity shared is not going to be returned.
I have a diagram for the ignition switch and am willing to share. Email me and I will send it to you if you want.

We weren't talking about service manuals, were we? I did in fact call to see if there was a diagram for the 68. I was told they were only in the service manual. So I already knew that. You're making assumptions.
