I'm rebuilding a 68 Ford P400 (no I don't know why
). I have a stock light switch and can probably figure out which prong does what but thot maybe someone here could give me the definitive answer. The prongs are labled: A, B, P, D1, D2, H, I, and R.
On a side note, I noticed lots of discussion on the need for a wiring schematic but no mention of where one can find one. Are they around?? My 55 Ford diagram is probable close but the 68 diagram would be better.

The reason that they aren't posted on FTE is because of Copyright infringement.
If the company (Helm or Ford ) doesn't SELL this info to people, the need for it to be printed will diminish, causing even more problems finding it .

I didn't get my diagram for my 68 at Motorhaven. Why? They don't list one. If there is one, it's not on the site. I would have gladly supported the site if there was one to get. So, I got mine from blueovaltruckparts.com. It was about $8 + sh. It has all of the headlight identification and everything else. If you only need the book for a one time deal, let me know. I will not be sending the diagram out for all to see anymore. Read below......

Motorhaven DOES list the wiring diagrams! They are included in most of the service manuals here. Apparently you didn't look very hard.

We weren't talking about service manuals, were we? I did in fact call to see if there was a diagram for the 68. I was told they were only in the service manual. So I already knew that. You're making assumptions.
