What to do?

Alright here is my problem. I have an edelbrock spreadbore carb on my stock 460 spreadbore intake . I cant get the carb to work worth a crap so i think i'm going to go ahead and buy a holley(i dont like edelbrock carbs anyway). I cant really find a holley spreadbore carb for 460s. So i'm thinking about going ahead and buying a stealth intake and holley carb. My question is what is a good holley carb that will go with the stealth intake? Squarebore or spreadbore? It will be running around 6,000 quite often so what cfm should i get. I will probably opt for a carb without choke also.

Why a Holley?
They usually need tuning more than others.

Me,....I would go Edelbrock or Carter AFB.

Bah humbug Mil

That said, get a 750 Demon Thomsen. Just a better Holley and if I remember your stats it will be enough.

I have been told that sand and mud gets into the meters in edelbrock and carter much easily than in holleys. This will pertain to me because the vehicle this is goin on will be strictly a mudbogger/mudracer. Pro, what kind of holley should be good? 4150hd(no choke) in 750. price is kind of an issue...but that demon does sound nice.

I like the HP series with the milled choke horn. Its what I run. I believe the mighty demon series has the milled body as well. Neither are cheap though, sorry.
