Pcm Idm ?
I have the haynes PSD manual and the dealer replaced the IDM Injection drive mod on my 99 PSD 1,250 parts labor but its not in the manual but the PCM is are these two things the same. IT started with the service engine soon light coming off and on and then the truck would not start They said it was The IDM but its not in the manual. In the future is OBDII from autozone worth the puechase for diging problems ?

The IDM and PCM are seperate, the PCM controls everything, including the IDM. The IDM is what sends voltage to the injectors by getting commands from the PCM. They both look about the same in physical appearance but do different jobs.
