Coolant leak

I have a 93 F-150 with the 302. I am having a intermittant coolant leak. I have replaced all the hoses, as they needed it. The coolant temp switch is installed on a post that threads into the intake manifold and I resealed all of it. I have noticed the coolant dripping off of the transmission bell housing. I have spent hours under the vehicle trying to see where the seepage is coming from. I though it could be seeping down the water pump onto the oil pan and running back, but every thing is dry. I had to replace the radiator and when I flushed the system I did replace the old coolant with that new orange coolant, Dex-Cool. I don't know if I opened a new can with that. Are there any freeze plugs on the back side that are covered by the massive automatic transmission? Any advise would help. Thanks

My advice would be to spend the extra 20 bucks and go to an autoparts store and pick up a pressure tester. get the right adapter and put it ont he radiator and then give it a few pumps n u should be able to see were the coolants leaking from cause it will be spewing out.

You should check the intake manifold and back fo the heads. When my intake manifold started leaking it was comming from the back of the engine down the bell housing and oil pan. It was an intermittant leak that eventually leaked all the time. The antifreeze had eaten away the intake manifold and started the leak.
