Master kit questions

What is included in a "master" rebuild kit? Are rods included? I'm trying to do this 360 to a 390 hat trick. Thanks.

i dont believe rods are included in most rebuild kits, but i suppose if you found the right rebuild kit it would have them, my friend rebuilt a thunderbird 390 with a complete rebuild kit and that one didnt include rods. i would check around you should be able to find a kit that includes them, good luck

If you going for a stock rebuld!! Some of the kits arent bad at all..

I havent seen to many like fordman said that included rods!!

Just Take your old rods down to a good machine shop!!
Have them checked for strightness and magnafluxed..

checked for size and then shotpeened!!! IMAO!! Russ!!
