navigator/expedition spare switch
I am going to replace one of my navigator rims because the chrome is peeling a bit with a nice used rim (very good price). I am going to take the original rim that is peeling and move it to the spare tire area so that all 5 rims match.
My main question is that I have an idiot brother in law with a 97 or 98 expedition that for some reason has no spare. I ask him about it every once in a while just to see if he ever found one, he really doesn't care. The bolt pattern I think is the same, but there might be a difference in the bolt length? Can anyone shed some light on whether or not my spare would fit on his expedition? Also, anyone else have this problem with the chrome? Warranty item?
