Does a 1996 F150 have a passive anti-theft device on it that will disable the truck form starting? Some one also told me if I pull the radio in a newer vehicle

when i pulled the radio in my truck it fliped the crash sensor thing im not sure exactly what its called but it is the sensor that will kill the engine if you get in an accident impact sensor? shuts off fuel. im not sure if that was directly related to the pulling of the radio or if it was just coincidence anyways it was a mess because it took a little while to figure out why it wouldnt start
