Angry Blower Motor

Time to replace the blower motor. Normally a 10 minute job, but the accumulator for the A/C prevents the motor from being removed. No amount of twisting or turning will clear it. I don't want to disconnect any A/C lines if I can help it. Has anybody else had this problem?

The blower motor can be nudged out, if all the bolts are taken off that accumulator, and the air cleaner is removed. Bit of a squeeze.

Did mine also, 90 3.0 with A/C. It took a bit of work, almost as bad as doing the spark plugs. Did not have to disconnect any A/C lines but you have to take out the bolts on stuff to give yourself just that extra bit of clearance needed.

Thanks all, took your advice and did manage to get it out. Imagine my surprise to find a squirrel nest in there, debris had gone thru the cooling tube into the motor and that was the end of that. I believe from now on, I'll go out of my way to run over squirrels.
