Glass Packs
Like to know if glass packs will give me that nice rumble sound For my F250 Supper Duty Truck.
I tried Gibsion and Meg flow and could not get that rumbling sound, the sound was like a sports car sound.
Also is it true that the shorter the glass pack, the sound is loader.

i'm going to go out on a limb and assume you have the v-10. the only way your going to get a good rumble out of your truck is to do a motor swap. no muffler that i've heard of will make it rumble.
You could do the headers and a good cat back.... but it still wont rumble. it will sound good... but still wouldnt rumble

I would imagine flowmaster 40 sereis would give your truck some rumble. I know what you are talking about. The best way i think it either no muffler or flowmaster, dual 2.5 inch pipes coming from headers, and pipe all the way to the back.

Do yourself a favor and run a search in this site before you spend any more $$ trying to get the sound you want. There's tons of info on this topic. Whether it's a 5.4 or 6.8, you'll probably never get the sound you're looking for because of the engine design. With the search, you'll even find sound clips so you can compare. Good luck!!
