Glasspack question

I'm going to replace the glasspacks on the truck I'm buying.
It's a 1990 F250 5.8L w/dual exhaust.

I've got a choice of 20inch:

Or 14inch:

What differences would I notice between the two lengths?
From the design of them I'd guess the longer ones would be deeper. Am I nuts?
Sometimes I feel like a... sometimes I don't....

If you guys could explain the differences between the two and be specific so I can make an informed decision I would appreciate it.

The longer one will be deeper and have a smoother tone. The shorter one will be louder, more raspy and have a snappy/crackly sound. Personally, I'd go with the 20" ones.

I have 14" on my jeep. Louder than loud. I wish I had gone with something quieter, but they have a nice sound.
