Taking my truck in monday to rule out other problems but its possible my tires I have on now are causing my truck to road walk and Im not happy at all. If it turns out that the suspension and other is fine then we will be replacing the tires. What is the best tire? We are looking to go with 285s..maybe 265s. Just depends on the prices as we will have to sell these to pay back most of what we buy the new tires with. The tires we have on now have less then 2000 miles on them. Im making a 16 hour trip beginning of April and dont want to have the truck problem and will be replacing ASAP if its the tires. Thanks in advance.
I thought we had already discussed this matter with you several months ago? I'm pretty sure almost everybody recommended Bridgestones. You can't go wrong with the Revos. BFG AT's are also highly regarded.
We wanted a more aggressive look. Told these tires would be good on and off road. I still have to rule out other problems with the truck in general but it is squirly over 60mph. Had the tires balanced, rotated and truck aligned with still not any results. Im looking to put 285s Bridgestone Revo A/T on it and already have the pricing on them.

Don't you have the LLS suspension? If so, are you sure the 285's will fit without rubbing?
Yes we do have the 4 corner air suspension. I wasn't aware that it would affect the tire sizing though. Got a friend with 285s on his Expedition. Not sure if he has the air suspension though.
It was the tires on our 4x2. Took it to Tire Kingdom. Tech spent a solid hour checking alignment & tire condition. They wouldn't take my money for new tires...said I had great tires and perfect alignment. Not satisfied, I went to Sam's Club and had 4 new Michelins mounted. Now it rides like a different SUV, very satisfactorily. Took off Continental/General factory-like tires.

Since the bridgestone Revos are on back order, I was looking at the other tires they make and I dont see any that say A/T except for the All-Terrain T/A KO tire. Is this the tire your talking about?

Alright. I can choose between 285s in the BF Goodrich OR 265 Bridgestone Revos. The 285s(Revo) are the one on 30 day back order. So Im torn as to which ones to get. And have to make my final decision by tomorrow. The Revos are in stock. The BF Goodrich are not in stock. Any recommendations on how to pick and choose between the two?
Get the 265 Revos. They come with a 30-day guarantee from Bridgestone. If you don't like them for whatever reason, return them and get the 285 Revos or 285 BFG's.
Personally, I like the look of 285's and have them on my truck, but like I said earlier, you might have some rub issues with LLS.
HI, I hear people talk about the air pressure in the tires. I have a 2000 expy EB 2wd, I checked the tire pressure on the inside door panel.. the sticker calls for 275/60/17. an that is what is on the Expy 275/60/17 GOODYEAR EAGLE GTII. yes I want new tires. not sure how old these one r, the expy has 60k on it and there is still alot of thread left on the tires so I assume they r not the original plus I was told they didn't come with the EAGLES GTII's on them. anyways the tire pressure on the door says 26psi front and 33psi back. I don't know i put 26 in the front and they look way to low. does that pressure sound right? any help please
