Superchargers
Jim, feel free to give me a call @(877)794-7697 and we can talk as the kit developes.

I can't believe Kenne Bell is asking $4K for that setup. Are you sure that's not an early prototype? I don't think any of their other Whipple kits run off the alternator. Seem like all their other blowers have a sturdy pulley extension at the front and run off the crank. I'm sure as hell not paying $4K for that.

Nor would I! I put a Paxton Novi 2000 on my '99 F250 V-10 Lariat SD SC in March. I prepared for this last year by installing a Banks Powerpack (which includes their great headers). The Powerpack gave me quite an improvement in performance, above that emanating from the Superchip that I had installed before the new car smell was out of the cab.
The Paxton is certainly the best *looking* kit out there, as it looks like Ford had designed and installed it. The V-10's performance is now something like I feel it should have been, also. While the Triton V-10 is a fine engine, the SuperDuty is so heavy that it EATS torque and horsepower. It needed some help.
Surprisingly, I even got about 4/10 additional highway gas mileage after installing the SC. That was a totally unexpected bonus. :-)
FYI, Paxton was bought at Summit Racing for $3935.39. From the Paxton factory (direct), the price would have been $5100. Installation labor at Anchorage's Jim Moore's did tons of excellent work for ~$900.
