I've located a brake fluid leak from what appears to be an unused end port on my equallizer (proportioning) valve (prior to the ABS, after the master cylinder) This end port is capped but the cap has a 1/16" dia hole in the center of the cap. Fluid leaks from here when pedal is fully pressed. The cap is not rusted, it just has this clean (almost machined looking) hole in it !
Is this cap missing another plug of some kind or is it a rupture disc or is it a bleed hole indicating my equallizer valve is shot.
I has the same problem, there is a ruber plug that should be in there. I raplaces the valve with one from scrap yard, 2 yrs ago - still stops...Bleeding the brakes is the hard part!
