Headlights
I want to change my XL style halogen headlights to the 03 clear style headlights. I see them on eBay but every site say's there is massive modification to change them out. Can anyone give me some advise.

You know he's talking about the xl style sealed beams with headlight rings around them and stuff. Not like the ones with the replaceable bulbs right?
I don't know the answer but usually when this is asked the responder thinks the original poster is talking about just putting the newer style lenses in the older style xlt or lariat.
If your answer still stands then just ignore me because I don't know that it's not right. Probably is. I just wanted to make sure you understood what he has now.

all you have to do is get head lamp assemblies for a 03 and they go into your exsiting head lamp mounting panel. if you look where the wiring harness plugs into your headlamps now there are adaptor harnesses to make them fit your sealed beams. take the adaptors out and they will plun into the "high series" head lamps.
