EFI to carb

I recently rebuilt a 1980 255 4.2l v-8. The engine was scrapped in a box and needed a complete rebuild. The engine was fuel injected but the intake I have for it will convert it to carb. If anyone has suggestions on how to install or regulate an after market electric fuel pump please lend some advise. Will any disributor from a ford 302 carburated engine work. I have free run of a salvage yards with many many vehicles. Any experience on this will help i plan on dropping the engine in this weekend and need to start the reconnection process. thanx

All you need is a pump (I doubt that 255 will need much), a regulator (5-7psi) and a vacuum advance distributor with a cast gear.
