Does anyone have a web address where I can check the build status of my F250 that has been ordered through the dealer. I tried using the 1-800 number, but couldn't get past the body type entry because I don't have a "decoder" for alpha numerics - body type W21.

Did you get the 1-800- number from your dealer or is it available somewhere? I also have a 2001 on order and hate calling the dealer time to find out what's up. Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't have the VIN yet, you need dealer number, order number, and body code. I ordered mine 2 weeks ago, and it was listed as "not scheduled"
I got stuck when it asked for decoder for order number. Order number on my order confirmation is 9999. I think that could just be a dummy number the dealer used on the copy they printed for me. Anyone know if that sounds like a legitimate number and how to decode it.
Disregard the previous post. Got the correct order number from the dealer and called and found out my truck had been shipped and has an ETA to be delivered here on 10-2!! Thats about a week ahead of what the dealer promised. The dealer was unaware of the number and didn't think my truck had even been built. REALLY APPRECIATE THE INFO now I have a week to get all my accesories ready to go.
That information is propriety Ford Motor Company information for dealer use only. FTE has posted a policy in the past that VOPC information is OFF-LIMITS. Use of this comes uses Ford's nickel for the call and makes it difficult for dealers to use the number because consumers have had a history of abusing the number by calling many times a day and making the number busy when dealers try to use it.
As such, all propriety information in this thread has been removed and the thread is now locked and marked read-only. Ford has asked other sites not to publish this information and we support that request here.
