Plugs???

I'm picking up my 01 4.2 next week. Someone was trying to tell me that it has some type of strange and really expensive ($200.00 each) spark plug substitutes. Is my friend crazy? Am I?

I get my Motorcraft platinum plugs at the dealer for $3.00 or less a plug.

Spark plug "Substitutes"???? What could THAT be? Like a diesel engine glow plug or something? I don't believe him, I've never heard anything like that before. Try to get more details from the guy as I am very curious.

Turns out my friend isn't burning on all thrusters. Begs forgiveness since the info came from third party. too much party if you ask me. knew I'd get the scoop from you guys.

Great, you got it? How does it run?? Does it also have one of those "Engine Substitutes" also??? I heard those are great on gas because they run on ceasar salad dressing
