Bronconda Element

I finally looked at the Ford website to see what the new concept Bronco would look like.
Um Honda Element on steroids!
Someone with no taste or knowledge at Ford must have been looking over the shoulder of the Element designer then tweeked it a bit and decided that he had a vision of a modern version of the 60s-70s early Bronco.
This thing looks like a joint european/ japanese design.
Originally the Exploder was based off the Bronco II design now the tides reverse themselves. The Bronco II was not exactly a success and among past owners of the original UV and later the full size model will not purchase one but will possibly look at and test drive for kicks.
The younger and also the somewhat monied people will probably buy one(hell people buy the element.). Generally those who never owned one.
I dont think the concept of putting a disel in a small SUV will really catch on. Yes they can be economically better , yes they last longer pull more and less maintenance, and sound cool. But pointless unless you plan on towing hevily and quite often. International in their last years tried this using a nissan 6 cyl. It caught on as well as their 196 Slant 4 (An IH 396 cut in half.) The idea didnt catch or work out.
In all the key thing is if you cant revive a great thing properly, then just leave it alone,For one day the dream return of a true Bronco may come to life for all to enjoy.
