I have a two month old f-250 cc 4+4 with a v-10.
Just noticed that the driver side sits about one
and three quarters of a inch lower than the passenger side. Has anyone heard of this before?
Getting ready to tow my camper will this affect
me in any way?
LAST EDITED ON 02-Oct-00 AT 09:18 AM (EST)[p]Mine sits lower on the driver side. It is a "characteristic" of the SuperDuty. Don't you just love it? However, some sit lower than others and some dealers will do whatever they do to get it within Ford "specs" which by the way is not totally level. I am going to replace the springs on the front of mine and when I do I will get it to sit level. Mine is not off quite as much as yours it. Take it back and complain and see what they say. And, it should not impact your towing capability. Good luck.
Thanks for the reply. Called the dealer today truck goes in next week. What is fords spec's for this condition? And no matter what i still think the super duty is the best looking truck on the road.

I think I saw a few wks ago in the super-duty message boards that others have had this problem and that there is a tech spec bulletin out for this problem. Take a look around this section of the message board and I bet you'll find it. I would dig it for you myself, but guess who's at work right now. Good luck.
I have a 2K F350 4X4 CC with the same problem. Drivers side is about 3/4" lower than the passenger. I installed a 6" suspension which is a spring swap and the problem was still there. I have an adjustable track bar installed and corrected the problem to within a 1/4" without shifting the front differential.
