Cigarette lighter
I dont think the year matters much but in my 97 f150 i would like to take out the cigarette lighter. Before i rip off all the dashboard panels i thought i would check in to see if it can be taken out more easily than that. Im going to replace it with a switch to run my amp.

Why?
If you are using your stock head unit, then use the lead off it to trigger a relay. Or, get a hi-lo adapter from PAC that not only converts your wires to RCA, but it also gives you an amp turn on lead......
What year and trim level....I will tell you what the wire color is....
