OK, so I inherited my late Fathers 1987 F250 (460)

The other night, I kinda got on it to get up to freeway speeds and the check engine light came on.

It's happened a couple times since, usually after I've been driving for a while. (keep in mind, I live in Southern Calif. so driving for a while does not necessarily mean allot of miles) and only on hard acceleration.

I also have a Pontiac. When ever there's a problem, I can jump two terminals on the ALDL and the check engine light will blink out a sequence to tell me where the problem is.

My question is, can I do the same with this truck?
