seat options

Hey all,

Now that I've dumped a considerable amount of money into my truck in the last month (shocks, tires, u-joints, ball joints, brakes all around, alignment, etc.), I think I can start working on my "want" wishlist now that the "need" list is taken care of.

So, next up, I'd like to attack my interior. The stock rubber floor is pretty ugly, so I'm trying to decide if I want to go with the ease of clean-up of another new rubber floor, or drop in a carpet kit. But, anyway....

What I'm want to figure out is, what my options are for doing something with my seat. Right now its just got the stock vinyl bench seat. The vinly is cracked so I've got a decent looking cover on it for now, but I'd like to get a permanent fix. Also, two of the brace supports on the back of the seat are broke.

Does anybody know if there is any place that sells new or refurbished truck seats? I'd like to just stick with the regular bench style seat. Any ideas?

I don't have the answers, but I do have the same questions, so I'm interested in what people have to say.

Short of grabbing the interior out of a parts-truck, I was planning on using carpeted floor-mats, and a seatcover in something other than vinyl.

I've seen a few OEM seats on ebay for sale.

Far and few between though.

There are a few companys that sell aftermarlet seats that will bolt into the existing holes.
I did a search on Google and came up with a few companies.
These companies also list their products on ebay as well.

Best of luck finding some good seats.
I have a 1995 F150 extended cab with buckets and really would like a 40/20/40 bench or a 60/40 split for the extra seating.

I'll look for the link to post.
Check out ebay for aftermarket seats, Decent quality with a few extra options for about $500 plus shipping.

this is my favorite setup (picture in above link). the vinal floors are great because they're easy to clean. whenever they get dirt in the grooves i just spray some cleaner and scrub it out. carpet is anoying because you have to worry about mud and spilled coffee. the bench seat is nice because its easy to clean and its nice and firm. they also make these w/a fold down arm rest which is nice. in my opinion this setup looks the nicest.

That looks just like my interior:

Except I would like to have that bench seat. I would especially love the 40/20/40 seat with the flip-down center console, as I can only flip one side of the seat forward at a time (tough when I'm trying to get my girls into the back of the truck) and I have a little plastic console resting on the top of the seat to put my coffee in.

if you had my bench our trucks would look the same. i would love to have a cupholder for my coffee, but the shifter is in the way and i hate the holders that wedge in the window.
