Redesigning the Ranger?

Does anyone know the latest "rumor" on when the ranger gets a complete redesign and anything on what they are gonna do to it?

and when they do redesign it i hope they bring back some of the nice features they USED to have like cargo light i hear the newer ones are getting pricey and less equipped

Im hearing it'll be midsized with the turbo diesel option. Will probably resemble it's big brother the F-150.

I would love to see a turbo diesel ranger in the US. Midsized would be okay I suppose. They may lose some sales to that type of thing though. 99 ranger bob, are you talking about the cargo lights that are by the third brake light? My 98 has those, but they only come on when you turn the domelight on using the dimmer switch. This could easily be fixed to come on when the doors are opened, if that's what you're looking to do. But yes, it would be nice if they came that way from the factory I suppose. It would also be nice to see the power window switch and door lock switch were lighted, like the Explorers. I was not happy when I first drove my ranger at night and found that none of the switches lit up.
