questions about manuals...
Hello
I have a tune up question.
1996 f150 half ton 302 4x4 mauual trans. and i have no inner mechanical abilitywhatsoever. its tune up time, and i want to change the fuel filter so i bought one of those "haynes" manuals and since my truck is efi, it says to relieve pressure from the fuel system first. so according to the book there was a boxy looking thing near the drivers left foot( according to the picture) to relive fuel pressure. well i can't find any thing like this anywhere on my truck. so i have a couple of questions
1. do i really have to be concerned about it since its not a high pressure efi system?
2. are any special tools required to change the fuel filter or is it just a simple really hard at the lines and replace?
thanks for any help you can give

You need fuel line removal tools available at any parts store. Remember to clamp or hold the hose from the tank after removing it. hoses just slip on when you are done.
1. i remember that "bike thingy" i was just not for sure
2. "You need fuel line removal tools available at any parts store"
does autozone carry those fuel line removing tools??
thanks again and one more thing ford rules. my little truck is great its the "go" truck it never hardly has any problems. the main serpentine belt still looks like new and i got 90000 miles on it.
Autozone should have the tool available for rent, check their website.
